Max Thorne

GBR, Class B

Hi! My name is Max Thorne. I'm 16, Welsh and I really love my sim racing.

I Started Sim racing all the way back in 2010 playing the Gran Turismo 4 with my first ever wheel. The mighty Logitech Driving Force GT. Me and my dad every single night would race the Ford Focus RS WRC and the Citroen C4 WRC cars on the Chamonix circuit in the snow. I loved it :).

I really started getting in to Serious sim racing at age 11/12 with playing the early F1 games and then moving into the iRacing series of races (Its a money pool sadly)

I've competed in several endurance races in my time in iRacing doing the Nordschleife 24HR in the BMW Z4 GT3 car, then coming a tremendous P3 in Le Mans 24 in the 488 GTE in 2020

I'm quite new to the Kabort scene, competing in my first Team Race in the Petit Le Mans with Tim and Lars. I Unfortunately don't race IRL but when i do get the chance to race arrive and drive karts, i Frickin' love it. Hope i didn't bore you in this paragraph, that's who i am xD

Andy Jones

GBR, Class A, Series Coordinator

Now the Team Principal, Andy is an absolutely vital part of Kabort Motorsport. More information on him can be found in the "Team Managers" section of this website.

Lars Bachmann

GER, Class A, 2.3K iRating

I started my (iRacing) career mid-2015 with some road and oval racing before my first endurance race in January 2016, which was a (class) win in GT3with the Ford at the 2016 Daytona 24 Hours with Esterson Motorsport

Since then there were a few endurance races and a break in 2019. Mostly I did GT3, GTE and some Formula races"

Then I participated in the classics IndyCar Series for a race but mainly focused on endurance racing. Best was a third place in PLM 2016 I think. And after a lot of breaks from racing I started 2020 again and ended up at Kabort

Following the AMG Fun Race At Sebring, I was able to hire both Lars Bachmann and Peer Brennscheidt who were and still are good friends.
